What a great time with the family. The food was fun and reasonable for a baseball park. Lots of vendors and lines moved quickly. There is plenty of fun between innings, too. If they are doing fireworks, then you really need to go.
Best local stadium around. Decently priced food. Cheap seats are available. Lots of things happen between innings. It still is a great way to watch baseball in the reading area
I've never been to a minor league stadium before, so kind of difficult to rate. But, it was clean, had helpful staff, nice variety of food available, our seats were excellent, they had a lot of things to engage the kids between innings, and Reading won! I'd say that makes for a nice family night out.
Great experience and awesome field. The food and staff are all awesome. I would definitely recommend going to one of the games.
Great place for a lot of family fun! Tickets are inexpensive, food is pricy but decent, if you go early enough, there’s always a place to park. When my kids were little their most fun at the game was spent in the pool. Overall a good time
We stopped in while we were passing through. The gentleman at the gift shop was so kind and let us take a peek at the field and shared a bit of the history of the stadium. We look forward to catching a game during the season.
My wife and I have been going here for years and we always have an amazing and fun time. We try and get down a few times a season as it makes a wonderful date night.
The park is always clean and well kept for a minor league park. The atmosphere is fun and very family friendly. There are multiple "fun" events happening every game and you can even (for a small fee) sign up the little ones to throw out a first pitch down on the field.
Some of the events are the famous "veggie race", the Tooth Fairy with her kid assistant cleaning off the bases about 5th inning. The familiar 7th inning stretch and even the Crazy Hotdog vendor makes an appearance to throw hotdogs to the croud, riding his faithful steed (an ostrich). The train also makes an appearance shooting a few free T-shirts into the stands.
On fan appreciation night there a few drawings and games for the fans, one year my wife won us a set of season tickets, pool party and buffet for 20 people (we had a wonderful time inviting 18 of our friends for free food and a free ballgame!)
There is a 50/50 drawing you can buy chances for, a tennis ball throw for prize money and free fireworks show after the game on certain nights (check their schedule for dates)
The food is actually very reasonably priced for a ballpark, and there are adult beverages available if that's your thing. for example, a 1/4lb jumbo dog is $4.50 as of the date I'm writing this review.
Bring the family for a night out and you won't be disappointed, and it won't break the bank like at a major league park.
What a great night for a ball game with grandfather, father and son. And the little guy was on a mission to meet all five mascots. Mission completed!
